I feel that I am having a bit of trouble with this assignment. can you please take a look and tell me if I am anywhere close to being on the right track?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the most difficult assignments! It is difficult because you are asked to develop structures and processes for a content area that you may not be too familiar with. We do this because it really forces learners to think about what is a structure and what is a process. You are definitely on the right track. I like to think of structures as the "nouns" of a discipline and processes as the "verbs" or actions. This is the most simplistic way I can think of it all. So for economics, a structure would be the systems you have outlined like supply and demand, additionally consumers, producers, etc. (You did a fantastic job pulling those out!)and processes such as spending or buying and selling, analyzing graphs, evaluating-lots of things, etc. I think you have added enough to this one and you are ready to move onto the next. It will be much easier to identify the structures and processes of your own disciplinary content.
ReplyDeleteYes. I had noun and verb written in my book. That makes the most sense and I got that part. I just felt like there would be so many more that I could have listed. Like the list could go on and on.
